The vinyl edition of Saul Williams meets Carlos Niño & Friends comes with an 8-page, 11"x11" insert booklet featuring photos by Sam Lee, Adam Corey Thomas, and Hop Nguyen, as well as a collection of reflections by a handful of people who were in attendance the night of the recording.
Mama Claudia Udy (founder of The Love School in Topanga, California), Haize Hawke (birthworker, dancer, educator), Noah Klein (of Living Earth), Sham-e-Ali Nayeem (interdisciplinary sound artist, poet, and filmmaker), Dee Barnes (journalist, broadcaster, MC), and Def Sound (artist & educator from South Central LA) all contributed words and shared memories.
To celebrate the vinyl editions release, we've published all of their notes on our website, along with some of the photos.
