Composer, producer, poetic percussionist Jamire Williams is known as a creative collaborator of Solange Knowles and a first call drummer for the likes of Jeff Parker, Blood Orange & Moses Sumney. On his genre-breaking & career-defining new work (“the album I’ve always wanted to make”) he applies sound collage practice to modern jazz composition, beat production, MC/vocalist features, and his uniquely impressionistic drumming style to create a deeply spiritual style as akin to minimalist painting as an art-house film soundtrack or a classic hip-hop mixtape.
